liver levels high???

I just got a call and I need to go in for even more blood test because my doctor said that she tested my liver and she said the levels were high..I asked the nurse who had called me to schedule the appointment to go in and give the blood and she said something about a hepatitis test and she doesn't know any more about the situation....I'm freaking the smurf out..what does this mean???..I'm having a mini heart attack because any time I've ever heard of hepatitis I've heard nothing but bad things come along with it...someone help please!!!!

Well my ex has hep b and as long as he takes his meds it could put it into remission like cancer the meds are like 900 bucks tho, his medicare paid for it he is disabled... Also it effects ur liver and could cause liver failure.

see but how does one get it?...I know my grandma got it from a blood transfusion and I've never had one and my liver was fine when I was pregnant with my son...I'm just freaking out now..

it could be the pregnancy too.. I had them because i had ICP while pregnant

My ex may have got it from infected needles from tattoos or from doing drugs. But theres other hep that u can get and its not just blood born.

Liver function panels are also run for gallbladder. If they are elevated it indicates a problem with your gallbladder, assuming you also have gallbladder symptoms.

nope..my gallbladder doesn't seem to have a problem with it
