advice/opinions

Ok, so I'm thinking about reserving a table for a local holiday bazaar to sell some of my crochet work, and I'm just wondering what a good quantity of each product would be. I've never had a table anywhere, sooooo I'm really unsure of what to expect. I mostly crochet hats and headbands. Any ideas of how much of each gender/size I should make. Any feedback would be extremely useful. I only have the month of October to make everything so I need to get started. I do have a handful of things already made, just need an idea of how much of each item so I know if I need to make more of anything.

And, any items other than hats and headbands that you would look for if you were to go to a crochet stand at a bazaar??

hmmmmm...thats a hard one..I would think color, style, etc would have to factor into that. hmmmm LOL..Its depends..I have an idea in my head , but I dont know the colors you have or styles.

I could attempt to explain the style and stuff but I do have a Facebook page with pictures of some stuff so I figured that would be easier.

ohhh very nice work!! Ok well since you have all different styles!! I would say 20 hats since they are different styles and colors..maybe if you have same color and style 2 of each..take a smurf load of head bands..honestly just crochet the hell out of Oct!! and take as much as you can ..seriously!!! even if you dont sell all of them..you will still sale them on FB etc...Thats my opinion..Thats what I would do...if its your first time doing this then its better safe then sorry..Hope that kind of helps LOL..

Thanks, ya I'm thinking at least 20 in each size. And headbands are fast and easy, so I'll probably make a ton. I'm having trouble finding a job, just moved last month, so in gonna put all my energy into crocheting for October.

LOL..props to you!!! at least your doing something to make some money! I am a SAHM now and I make crafty things and sell them. I think you will do awesome..also if there is any consignment shops near you you might want to try that too

Can you sell your craft items at consignment shops?

Yes!! Look in your local phone book and call them! I have bottle cap hair bows and a childrens consignment shop..alot of them like to help the locals. and to help out the community!
