Hello everyone. Sorry I haven't been around. Have more chance of hearing from me via facebook tbh. Very quiet in the fb group hence why I haven't really bothered. Time is flying by!!! I am not 17w2d, have my bonding scan on the 25th to take the children. Cannot wait!!! We have decided not to find out the gender, not even get them to write the gender in a card incase we want to know at a later date. Surprise all the way here. Movements are getting stronger finally. Was gutted to not have the very early movements like with my youngest two but oh well. Keep finding myself awake at night just waiting for a movement. Lol. My sister found out her baby is a girl last week! So psyched for her!!! My nausea still has not completely gone but I am slowly getting my appetite back. I have only put on 2.5lbs because of being so sick. With my youngest at this point I had put on just over a stone already!!! Ahhh what a difference scoffing your face does. Lol. I am super happy that we will be going away for Easter and have a lush tankini to wear. I think it may be the only clothing I pack I love it that much. Nothing else is really happening in my life. Still doing my studying which ends in March for 7 months. Baby brain is setting in badly!!!

What is a bonding scan??
Were not finding out gender either, and def not getting it written on an envelope. We've always loved the surprise of it all. Yay for feeling baby move. I still havent felt mine and i did earlier than this with my last one so i was kinda bummed, But i know it will come eventually. I havent yet to put on any weight and was trying to keep it that way till my first appt on the 22nd. Since i havent been to the doctor since 5 weeks i didnt wanna step on the scale and be like 10 pounds heavier and have them be like  what have you been eating woman!

Just what they have named it so they can differentiate what people want from a private scan. It means I can take the children with me and they will talk to the kids about what the scan is showing so they have involvement. It is just a way to 'bond' with your baby. I will get a dvd of the whole scan, a cd with photos on - as many good ones as they can get. As I didn't want it in 4d, we will be doing 2d but can have a preview. I can find out the gender for free but don't want to. We have scans here at 13 weeks to date the pregnancy and then 20 weeks to check for abnormalities, so had to go private for this one. Our 12 & 20 week scan only let you have one other person in the scan room.

Your baby movements will come soon enough. I felt my youngest two fluttering away at 10 weeks. This one it has been odd flutter but has taken until last week for more regular movements.

Ahhh we don't get weighed at drs unless have a bmi problem. But as I had to go for extra blood tests they needed my current weight to use it as part of the risk calculation. I hope I don't put on loads like last time. With my son it took the longest to lose my baby weight.

oh ok. THats kinda cool. My kids would probably love something like that.
I felt my last one around 13 weeks. And im 14w3 days now. So im thinking in the next couple weeks i should feel some flutters hopefully!

It has been quiet on the fb group. It is going by too fast!! Awe the kids will love seeing their little brother/sister. Yay for more movements! Congrats to your sis on her little girl! Glad your getting your appetite back. The little vacay over Easter sounds like fun!!

They won't say that if your 10lbs heavier than at 5 weeks! At my appt. last week I was up 10/11 lbs from my starting weight and the Dr. said my weight looks good. I hope I don't gain too much more though, with Steven I gained about 25lbs total, I would like to stay around that with this guy.

I've gained 10 so far as well...I'll be happy as long as I don't go over 30

Time is flying! I can't wait to feel my baby move. Good luck at your scan your kids will probably love it

yeah its just alot to see on the scale at once rather than going monthly and seeing like a couple pounds. i gained around 28 pounds with my other 2 so ill prob be around the same this time. I was 1 pound heavier this morning on the scale...its prob because of my obsession with potatoes recently. Ive aten them everyday for the past week, sometimes twice a day

I think I gained 30lbs with Collin. I hope I don't gain that much this time since i didnt lose all the weight from Collin. Doctor said light excerise which I'm doing  

Hi everyone. Been really busy with work and church and stuff. I want a doppler, but DH says that I just want to buy extra stuff for nothing. So I guess I won't be getting one. I haven't felt the baby move yet. They said I should feel something by 20-22 weeks. I am 16w2d now, so yeah. The books that I've been reading said it takes longer to feel it with your first pregnancy, so I guess, I have 4-6 more weeks before I will feel anything. I have already gained 15 lbs (from 203 pre-prego to 218 the other day)! And I don't eat a lot, I exercise 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes. I know that I don't need to diet, but goodness!!! I am praying that I can keep it below 40. My mom says that as long as I am eating healthy, I just have to deal with it because people gain weight differently, but I don't want to have a whole lot to try and lose afterwards.

I think I just felt a flutter!!!! Wow. I gotta call DH!

People do gain weight differantly and as long as your doctor is fine with it i wouldnt worry too much about it. I felt flutters with my first at 17 weeks. I think it will be sooner for you that 20 some weeks.

Lay down and hold still...you might feel more. Thats what i always do. i usually like it quiet too haha.
