Yeah even with the u/s he should still see you!! But I guess he thinks differently b/c of the u/s. You might be able to hear/see the hb at your u/s. I saw/heard both at their first u/s's (Steven 9 weeks, this one 8 weeks).

Yeah the doppler can be tricky to figure out. To ease your mind I would wait until your closer into your 2nd tri. or already in it.

Yeah i heard the heart with both my girls before 10 weeks on the u/s...and with the doppler. the doctor finding it thought not me.
I havent even gotten it yet and probably wont for a few more weeks. So i prob def wont try it till im close or into my 2nd trimester.

Yeah right now it's too early to hear it with a doppler. With Steven I didn't find it until 10 weeks. This one I think I was 8/9 weeks, but I had an idea of where to look since I used it a lot with Steven, lol. I haven't used it too much with this one for some reason. Probably to busy handling Steven.

Dopplers are fun! You could always practice getting used to what your heartbeat sounds like and knowing the location of your arteries (aorta/femorals) that are in the same area...really helped me figure out where the baby should be

yeah that would have been a good idea if it was here...then when i looked for babies i could tell the differance. But its not here yet.

When did you call your doctor to set up the first appt? I was thinking I would call after I missed my period.

i called a couple weeks after i found out. I just went on friday though, and wont go back till im 14 weeks now.

I just got a craving for my Dad's hamburgers!! He makes them so yummy!

Mmm that sounds so good. Ive been craving mcdonalds salty fries for weeks havent had them yet though. ms is starting to kick in a bit during the day. usually around noonish to 5, and i dont want to eat anything really during that time... I hope it stays like this and not like it was with the first 2, UGH!

I haven't yet. Only because I know my midwife won't take me until around 8-10 weeks.
