So I've been shopping around on the internet for a infant car seat. I've found two that I like, one being a Graco and the other Evenflo. The Evenflo carseat is cheaper, although I'm really not looking at price as long as it's not ridiculously expensive. I would really like to know which one runs more a long the safe side for newborns. Any advice?

What seats are they? If you want to go with safe go with Chicco. Ita above standard I believe and really safe. We had it and I loved how padded it was.

Evenflo Embrace 35 and the other was Graco Snugride
Both of them looked like they were safe carseats, but I'm still iffy on the Evenflo. They had good review, although I read online that Evenflo has a lot of recalls (?)

My son had the Graco SnugRide 35 a loved it <-----goes up to 35 lbs And we also baught the Graco Smart Seat All in one Covertible carseat. And I love this carseat cuz it rearfaces 5-40 lbs and forward faces to 20-65 in the five point harness and then a booster 30-100 lbs <---this is a $200 seat but i found the infant seat a waste of money because once they get bigger them and the seat just way to heavy...
