re: hcg levels

Dang. She already got to have an ultrsound. My dr hasnt even sceduled me my first prenatal appointment. All they keep doing is calling me to go do more blood work.
Also is it strange that they are only checking my hcg and not my progesterone level?

Yeah. It's the same Drs I went to with my mc.

No she hadn't had her ultrasound when she had the blood work. The twins are about 21 months old now.  

You can ask them to check your P4 but they don't usually do it unless you've had issues with it in the past. But it's really easy to have it checked when you get your beta.

Well I started spotting on Saturday. Went to see Dr on Monday. Said it could just be normal spotting and nothing to worry about. Had levels checked again but havent gotten results yet. Go in the morning will get results then. Been bleeding pretty bad since Monday night with clots. So its not looking good. But I havent had any cramping what so ever just the bleeding.

  spotting can be normal, clots arent good, but doesnt always mean mc. side note, my hcg levels w my 1st were 57 at 4 weeks prego. i didnt have hcg levels monitored this pregnancy for some reason, but did have spotting around 8 weeks, scared the hell out of me. no cramping w mine, they said that was good. i hope its the same kind of situation for you love. good luck!

(another thing you can do at home, not an exact science like blood levels, but you can take a preganncy test w fmu everyday for several days/a week or so, and see if the lines get darker, indcating rising hcg levels. i did this with this preganncy)
