well, the name has nothing to do with trend, it's in memorial of my husbands little sister who he lost to cancer, her name was Cayla Leigh so he put it as Caylee because she always said when she had a little girl she would name her that but he lost her when she was 12.

Agreed, its like once they get their mind set there's NO changing it. I literally had to throw out like 200 + names that I liked for our son before he chose Cael. It was a pain in the ass to be honest. lol!

I dont mind the name, I kinda like it, I just hate that because he's so stuck, my names kinda went out the window. I had thought of Colt ( I will admit it's from the 3 ninjas) but he just refused to budge.. maybe if I found something he liked better he would..we'll see, still got 7 months to go!

I know, but my brothers name was spelled with the Y and it was sort of to memorialize him.. why do people get so adamant about the Y ? Just wondering.
