does anyone have child that takes divalproex meds

my fiance has a 6 yr old son that takes this i was wondering if ur child has a hard time focusing or is more tired then usual..the medshave helped the seizures ALOT but his behavior and way of acting has completly changed not sure if its the meds or if its just nomal 6 yr old acting out behavior??

any moms have any experience with this medicine ?
