re: [Official] June 2013 Due Date Thread!!

Congrats and welcome to new mamas( again! I freaking like saying welcome and congrats every day bwahahahahaha)

I just want to tell you girls I don't think I will come online this weekend for this excellent reason:

Today is SO's youngest birthday. He turns 6.
So we are planning him a small something something...that turned out to be lots of people coming to my house for cake and coffee and gift time.

So, all in all, I need to spend the day tomorrow cleaning like a mad lady with 4 kids in the house( HA! Like that can be done!)

And then spend Sunday cleaning as well because there would probably be stuff everywhere...because that is always what happens when you have people over.

ALSO and that is a very serious and sad question and if you ever had experience with it, I would like your help.

So's kids grandmother died this week and is burried today. I have never dealt with the loss of a family member. My question is...how do I help them through this? They will obviously be very very sad( Hence why the super huge party filled with people who LOVE William to show himwe want him to be happy and loved)...but what the balls do I do? If you lost a family member, what type of attitude helped you to heal?? I am definitely at a loss here.( no pun intended...that would just have been a very very bad pun, anyway.)

Well all you can do is let them know that it is ok to be sad and to cry. Let them know that you are there for them if they need to talk. Maybe plan a project with them centered around the loss. If they are interested that is. Maybe they could each write a letter to her telling her how they feel now that she is gone... If they want time alone, give them a little space but within reason. Its not good to shut yourself away from the world completely when you're grieving. And not for too long. Maybe think of something they used to do with her that was special and do it with them. I hope they're ok  

Ok you ladies have had a ton to say sense I was gone. First congratulations to the mommies who just found out, sticky dusty to those who need it, and thank you for the words of wisdom.

I have my verification appointment on the 9th and first appointment on the 17th. I am some times nauseous only got suck once. I can already feel my little bean moving around (Tim but like I have had bubbles moving around) mostly I have back aches.

My Dd keeps telling me I have two Babies in my belly one boy one
girl. she was right when I was pregnant with my youngest, I didn't know I was pregnant she told me I was lol so a will see

How is everyone today?

I keep searching for like buttons lol

It's SO's ex mother...so I know nothing about her.

SO called William to wish him a happy birthday this morning...and he was crying. The girls have cried a bit, but never as much as Will( who is kind of a drama queen to begin with...never seen a little boy cry so much. " There is onions in my food! I HATE onions!*cries*).

I was definitely planning to be there for them, People coming tomorrow know the situation so they are prepared for a hug fest if needed as well.

I wish I had medicaid. I have a PPO through my job that only gives me only 5 doctors visits a year and I already used 4.

Am I the only one who feels like their house is never clean? I have projects that I want yo get done and never do because it seems like when I clean this room and move to the next the kids mess up the first room and so on and so fourth

I was hesitiant to make ours too, but the doc i am seeing this time actually wants to see me at 8 weeks so that makes the wait a little better

It's not a big deal, most places see you when you're around 8-10 weeks or so anyway, so you have some time.

then it sounds like you should just go with the flow. That's good that there will be a lot of people tomorrow. Hopefully that helps.

Yes, except it's my boyfriend who leaves his clothes and stuff everywhere.

In NY they want to see you before 8 Weeks so you can get your u/s done beefier 12 wk because they do specific testing (they just started it about 2 years ago) to tell if anything is wrong with the infant. I can't remember the name of the testing but i'm going to ask when I go in
