Single mothers!

For all the single mothers out there... I have a few questions.

-What is your monthly income?
-What are your monthly expenses?
-What do you do to save money? (ex: coupons, cloth diapering, meal planning etc..)
-Do you follow a budget?

I'm a single mother of a two year old. Re-adjusting my financial situation was rough but do-able.

Any tips/advice?

-What do you do to save money? (ex: coupons, cloth diapering, meal planning etc..) I just put a little money away with each paycheck.
-Do you follow a budget? No, but I'm not careless with my money, I don't need to budget.


Tips? Errr...I don't know.

Wore my baby and toddler in wraps instead of using a stroller
Cosleep so never needed a crib
Use public transport instead of having a car
Breastfeed exclusively for as long as possible (helps on food costs, less need for medications or doctors visits, can be used on diaper rash and ear infections etc)
Cloth diapers (bought in sales and discounted)
Batch cooking
Get memberships and go to museums etc with packed lunches for days out, rather than pricey meals and paying per visit. Use groupon etc

I no longer consider myself a single mother since I have a s/o who lives with me and shoulders part of the bills and parenting, but this is just recent.

My income was about $1400, bills were about $1200. I ride the bus, meal plan, make bulk meals, go grocery shopping almost every day, and automatically have 10% of every paycheck put into savings so I'm saving a little without realizing.

I also buy a lot of stuff preloved, or new on ebay. I also sell things once i'm done with them, it helps pay towards the next lot and has helped a ton.

My income is about 1994 a month atm.
Rent $500
Cell phone 40
shared home phone and internet and cable heat and hydro all together about 300 a month
food 300 or so....give or take.

I use coupons and my staff discount from work.

I sometimes follow a budget but well not always. lol
