printable ticket invitations

I know some of you on here make them or have made them, so I was wondering what dimensions do you usually use when creating them? and also what kind of paper do you use to print them out?

ETA: what size paper.

The last ones I made were 2"x6". I'm not sure what they printed them out on, but if it were me, I would print them on photo paper.

Like 4x6 photo paper? I'll have to try that and see if I can two out of one print. It'd definitely save me money.

2x6 so you can fit two on one 4x6

I would set them on to be printed as an 8x10, that way you could print out more, in less time-kwim?

  I wouldn't know how to make them fit on an 8x10

Just setup the background as a 8x10 in the program you're using and add them on there.
