I wouldn't touch some of that stuff NOW lol. Like the cottage cheese, but jesus maybe I'm a bad mother, but who has that much time to make a FULL meal for lunch? Then again maybe I'm just lazy. Lol.

My son was buying his lunch and one day I went to sit with him during lunch. The selection was awful. No wonder he was so hungry when he got home. Chicken patty on wheat bun, salad, cup of cranberry sauce, and grapes.
Now I pack his lunch and he gets chicken nuggets, chips, string cheese, pudding, and bottle water. He's happy now.

Dang I would not eat some of those. So far my nut free child would eat the brown rice chicken and broccoli .
Check into sunbutter- nut free and similar to peanut butter. That's what we use

I let my son take full meals about twice a week. He's in pre-k, but I make them the night before
Today's is chicken over steamed white rice, greebeans, and a roll and a brownie or a cookie depending which I made

I luck out on that I guess because my sons school has a culinary school in it so they prep lunch.
I went there yesterday and they were having like roasted turkey soup or something.. All I know is my mouth was watering.

My kids wouldn't eat a lot of that. Although, DD1 prefers to take a salad daily instead of a sandwich and I'm cool with it.

My daughter wouldn't eat any of that lol
I freaking loveddddd my cafeteria food. Especially my high school food. I wish I can pass as a student and go eat there again lol

I guess I'm just lazy. Lol. I wouldn't be able to make my oldest a full meal anyways because he hates just about everything. He has his days where he loves a certain thing hates it the next.

The only thing my kids wouldn't eat would be the corn bread muffin. Idk why but they hate cornbread.

My sons the same way. I only send meals I know he enjoys. I've been known to make full batches of Spanish rice just for his lunches.
But the three days a week I don't make him meals I send him with apples chicken nuggets veggies and string cheese
Or
Sunbutter dinosaur sandwiches with celery and crackers. Or really any typical lunch you find kids having

That looks yummy!
My son's preschool doesn't have a nut ban. So I alternate btw PB & J or almond butter and jelly, Turkey roll ups, ham and cheese.
I pack carrot sticks ( I clean and cut myself due to chlorine being in those little mini carrots) and hummus.
Graham crackers
annie's cheddar bunnies
applesauce
A variety of fresh fruit like grapes, canteloupe, melon, peaches, strawberries, apples, bananas.
Lentil chips, blue corn tortilla chips, popcorn
cheese
crackers
That's all I can think of at the moment. lol
