TTC & implanon?

How long did it take you to be able to conceive after you removed the implanon? My SO and I are going ot TTC soon so i have to remove it. Ive had it since nov.2010. And I heard that if youre on a birth control for a certain time, its harder to conceive is that true?

took my mate 3 months (she wasnt ttc though)

i had mine removed after 2 and a half years (i think)...... it was removed end of september last year and i waited for my first period which took 6 weeks and month after i got pregnant,however my sister had her implanon on for whole 3 years and had another one placed in after for a further 2 years and think it only took her a month or 2 to get pregnant.everyones different i suppose but can take longer,i was told that because i am really overweight that it would take me a year to concieve but also depends on your body really,it WILL happen,

it may take a while to get your first period after having it removed,(i only had 2 periods in 2 and half years when i had my implanin in)for all it took a month to get pregnant. all depends on your body really but good luck!!!

I wasn't on implanon, but I was on birth control (nuvaring) for over 2 years and we got pregnant the first month.
