Hydrocephalus

Anybody have a bub with this?
My son has just been diagnosed and I have no idea what to expect 

I don't... and I don't know anyone personally that does. I'm sorry you guys are going through that and I sincerely hope your little guy is okay.

Its a rough road but you know its honestly about the faith you have in your little ones ability to strive and survive and your love for them!

My son has been developing normally until now. His head has always been big but just recently got bigger so we had a head ultrasound.. I still haven't heard back from our paed but the technician said in his report mild hydrocephalus. How does this just happen all of a sudden?

i asked the same question about my daughter but i guess it can happen at any time! just be for warned though if he all of a sudden quits communicating and being a verbal and physically active little boy you might want to look into getting him so occupational and speech therapy!

My Son has Secondary Hydrocephalus due to a Hemorrhagic Stroke(aka "Brain Bleed") during Labour & Delivery.
One of My Little Cousin's (My other Boys)was also Just diagnosed(in June, at the end of Grade 1) with Hydrocephalus which may or may not be connected to a Minor & Previously Undiagnosed case of Spina Bifida, &/or a Minor case of Chicken Pox (Varicella).
