Also, the majority of gay men were sexually molested as a child. When this all started happening, did you take him to a doctor to get checked out to see if he had been raped?

How about "a lot" of gay men.

no he's never had any physical indications that he was raped or physically abused at all. His dad left us when he was 4. He last saw him when he was 6 nearly. After that I fell really ill. Which I guess I couldn't be the same mom I was to him. And by the time he was 10 I was better he was like this he wouldn't talk he stayed in his room wrote all day and he sang as well a lot of the characteristics like his father except for the lack of talking and demeanor. He backtalked all the time.

Some of that just sounds like a typical teenager, but I would deff try another therapist and possibly counseling for you both.

that doesn't mean anything. some kids draw their abusers as monsters or dead people. i'm not saying your child was because i haven't ever talked to him, but you can't rule it out because he drew a dead person rather than a clear picture of an abuser.

it seems like you dont want to accept any possible answers that people are providing.. i'm not sure how you want us to help? it seems like you are just angry with him and dont want to accept that it's a possibility that there is a reason behind his behavior

I was sexually assaulted when I was around his age. I always swore no matter what none of my kids would experience what i had to experience. i always made sure the only babysitter my daughters ever had was my mom and grandma. I didn't even work with my son. His father has always monetarily provided no matter his absence. Up until he was about 10 he seemed to be so secretive and shut down where he tried to cut me out of having a clue of what or if anything was going on. I always have said to all my kids if there was anyone who did anything they didn't like tell me or someone like a teacher. I've instilled I'd back them no matter what. And he's been seen y a doctor and there are no physical indications that he's been sexually abused. Well, before he became sexually active. I guess it hurts to think that. I've got to be calm ut how can I if that's the case and he won't say anything plus I don't get why he wouldn't tell he knows he's in safe hands.....

What did his doctor say about his behavior and what medications did he subscribe him??
