mexican cheese the queso dip

i went to baby doctor today and she warned me that it has been seen and brought to her attention the the queso dip is not to be eaten by pregnant people that studies have recently found this but i cant not find this on the internet any where and i rly love that dip but am scared to eat it and i was just wondering if anyone on here and seen or heard anything

I'm sure it can be eaten in moderation, although I don't see what would be wrong with eating a dip lol.

I think you're supposed to ask if it is pasteurized or not.

Ive never heard that, but I ate it like it was going out of style while I was pregnant with both of my boys. They are fine...

I have heard something about the Mexican cheese. My mom told me not to eat it during my pregnancy.

i ate it all of the time while pregnant. i had a list of unsafe foods given to me by my doctor and that wasn't one of them. I've honestly never heard of it being unsafe.

i was talking to my mom about eating Mexican after my app. lol and she got really freaked out i dont know where she found it or heard it but i just wanna be safe

Like the Tostitos Queso Dip? I think it's safe to eat in terms of what you should and should not eat (cold cuts, soft cheeses, sushi, etc.). However, good lord that smurf is bad for you so I would definitely say in moderation. It's so hard because it's so delicious.

Maybe she meant the queso blanco! That isn't pasteurized and that is all that I could think of that would be a no no
