Lol, my SO loves Pokemon and has actually brought up Eevee as a name. We decided if he really wanted to go down that road, we would call her Evangeline and call her Evie.

Here's the thing...if you want people to agree with you and tell you how much they like it, post your names on Facebook or something.

Most of the people here have been around for a while and have seen some seriously awful naming trends.

Everything that has been said here is the truth.

You have to give your daughter a name that she will grow up and still enjoy. It's not just about you and your SO.

He doesn't sound too into it if he's picking Pokemon and dead girl names.

Hey - at least Anakin sounds like a name, lol. My step son's middle anme comes from Everquest and each of his kids have a middle name from one of his world of warcraft characters. (he uses real names, though, so it's not awful and each of them have two middles).

Lucky, lol. We arent even pregnant and I sat there facebooking him yesterday at work, sent him probably 50 names and NO to all of them.  

I love older names, too - Elias is super handsome! Elias, Wyatt and Eveline sound really great together!

He liked Reagan, but that one is becoming pretty popular too.
