First off, she doesn't deserve to get the smurf kicked out of her, smurffy mom or not.

Second, call CPS and report her, and document his state when they bring him to you. He DOES deserve better and you do have the ability to help him. All it can take it a phone call.

From reading that, you need to get the guts to report her.

Understandable. I just didnt like how she said smurf my mom. That kind of hit a nerve. But I got over it, its not about me or my mom, its about him.

I used to tell my mom to go smurf off when I was being beaten. It puts you in a different mindset... best thing that could have happened to me was my ex kicking me into a miscarriage so I could see how low he really was, and get the hell away from him. Abused women think they can't get away and they have no choices. You need to be the advocate for her and her son, if you can.

Yeah, I just hate to see kid go through the system. My niece's mother is in prison for attempted murder & I havent seen my niece in a few years :/ But I cant sit by & ignore the bullsmurf anymore.

Y not calling CpS you are letting this behavior continue. That's not something I would want for my nephew...I'd call.

wow i can not believe that, that is ridiculous. this child deserves so much more you need to get that child out of the situation he is in. if i were you i would go and report her and fight for custody. and if your mom thinks the same she should help aswell, the more people who help you get that child out of there more then likely you will get custody. if her boyfriend beats the mother more then likely he will start abusing your nephew and it could get worse and worse everyday he is in this situation. please as a mother and aunt myself get that child out of there, even if it hurts the mother so much if she really loves her child like she says she does she wouldnt put her son in this situation. i wish all the best to you and that little boy god bless you

Thanks. I've JUST gotten comfortable talking about it lately, and it's been over 7 years since it happened/ended. But I don't want other women making the same mistakes and ending up in the hospital or dead...

You def need to call CPS and get somebody involved, that is going to emotionally traumatize your nephew if he stays in that situation his whole life!

When you first found out, you should have said something.
