They're so good. I kept the cut out scraps and made little cinnamon sugar chips for a home snack.

Wait I forgot I add I sprinkled them with cinnamon sugar after the butter. Geeze that's the best part

Awesome. I pinned a few on pinterest so I could save it. There is apparently a book called "The Day it Snowed Tortillas" and I'm going to try to get it, and then do this.

DH sometimes will fully fast for however long he think God wants him too. And he's cut pork out of his diet completely, permanently. DH and I has fasted together before, I think the longest I did was 3 days though, and about a week for him. And idk if this will help me feel closer to Christ or not, but it definantly makes me think about him more and pray for the strength to continue to stick to what I'm giving up, so I think it is. And it's making me healthier, which is a big plus! So I always like to do it.

It has been heavy on my heart to try to read the Bible cover to cover in 90 days. I have the plan for it, and am considering starting tonight. I'm a little nervous, it's about 45 minutes of reading a night -- totally doable, but very intimidating!

Good luck. That does sound intimidating but you can do it!!

I decided for lent to do the love dare with Sam. I've tried before and I always end up quitting so I'm worried about that.

I do too. I just always end up lazy and stop   but I figure lent is perfect, 40 days. So I'm trying. I'm a little behind cause it hit me at church today. But I'll either catch up or go longer.

I'll pray for you!. DH and I have been reading a chapter a night for over a year and barely a quarter of the way through! Lol. I can only take in so much info at once, I like to take it in in little chunks to absorb it better.

Well, I mean, I've read it cover to cover every year for several years. I just think I need more of a challenge. I'm starting to work on memorizing large chunks, so I'm still focusing on bits at a time. I did it tonight and it only took about 30 minutes for the first section (16 chapters)

What? The love dare? It's a book with a challenge for yor relationship each day. It's supposed to help you grow closer and have a better relationship and change some bad habits that could be hurting your relationship. And on like day 11 I think (I try not to ask). I just started day 1 today.
