It has been a rough day. I got te girls' new carseats for my car today and went out to clean the car out (it's super trashed  ). So I was grabbing the last piece of trash out from under the middle back seat (I have a rendezvous) and I slipped on the snow and fell down onto the floor. I hurt my stomache really bad and was afraid I'd ripped my incision open. So I went and relaxed and I'm still sore like I'm all bruised.

Then I fed Scarlytt and she was sleeping in my arms when she spit up and started choking. She turned all blue and I flipped her over and did back blows, checked her, still blue kinda limp and not breathing. Did back blows again. She took a big yawn and went back to sleep. She was kinda squeaky and breathing fast and labored sorta shallow so I called te pedi and she could hear her and said call ems to transport her. By the time ems got here she had her color back and was breathing fine. They listened to get lungs and said they're clear. So I called the pedi back and she said just watch her. It sounds like she had gerd. So I have to put her on her right side at a 45 degree angle after she eats for an hour. Ugh this was te scariest thing that's ever happened to me

<3 I'm so sorry, hun. That had to be so scary. I'm happy that she's OK, and that you're OK as well.

Yeah we're fine I hope. I'm scared to sleep. I've been weepy all day. I feel like such crap compared to when I had lylian. Idk if it's baby blues or hormones or if im just crabby cause I'm in pain. But I hate this. I just want to feel normal again. I'm already taking antidepressants so there's not much else I can do. I just want to feel better. And then I have somethig stupid like falling in the car to set me back.

I had a great Bible study night tonight. Kids went to bed and I pulled out my new study. It talked a lot about David and Goliath tonight, and how simplistic was with his fight against Goliath. What stood out to me was this:

David said to Goliath: "You come against me with a dagger, spear, and sword but I come against you in the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel's armies - you have defied Him. Today the Lord will hand you over to me."

It reminded me. Oftentimes I feel like I'm being "attacked" by the world, the enemy, or whoever by so much. Daggers, spears, swords...you name it. They're all being thrown my direction and I'm frozen in fear, or I duck and hide. But really? I can come against them in the name of God. I'm His child, I have FREEDOM from sin. I'm not bound by it, I don't have to fear my strongholds. What power we have in Christ. It was something I needed, because I've struggled recently.

Another thing it had me do was to sit down and write some updated priorities. So, I did. It encouraged me to share them, so I'll do that here.

Priority 1 - God. Spend time wish, think about, honor, and worship by my actions.
Priority 2 - Husband, although my days are dedicated to my children, I need to save my energy for him as well.
Priority 3 - My babies. I need to play, love, laugh, read to, cuddle, and enjoy them as much as I can. As well as discipline, and redirect.
Priority 4- Homeschool. This is separate from simply being with them, I think.
Priority 5 - Housekeeping.
Priority 6 - Church/volunteer activities. I don't need to let these things overwhelm me.

Hi Ladies- Dee invited me to stop in.
I'm Lindsey, 26, and know Dee in rel life.
I don't have any children, but last week lost my first baby at 15 weeks and delivered her 3 days ago. I know God is holding my baby girl until I can see her again some day. Beyond that, I have a fantastic, supportive husband I've been married to almost 4 years.

My devotional for today, just thought I would share. God gives you the perfect passage for exactly what you need at that point. How cool is that?

Phil 4:13 is a popular passage that is often taken out of context. It says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." That doesnt mean you can just do anything you decide to do because you want to do it.Paul was talking specifically about how he was able, through the power of Christ, to be content no matter what his circumstances were.
God wants you to know that He has an individual plan for your life, and He wants you to accept His unique plan for you and not compare your plan with anyone else's. You have to trust God knows more about what you need and what you can handle than you do. After all, He knows you better than you know yourself!

This absolutely spoke to my heart. God knows what I am going through and he knows I can handle it. He has a plan no matter what storm or hurricane our life bears down on us. When we feel hopeless, he has the hope of our future in his hands. I shouldnt compare my fertility struggles with those who concieve easily, even though its so hard. God is close to the brokehearted and he will reward those who are faithful.

Thank you for sharing! Great message. Really gets me thinking, and I'll remember that when things aren't exactly going according to "our" plan, but it is always going according to His plan!
