Beautiful! I was just telling my SIL how this Christmas felt different than all the others since my mom isn't here with me.

Most people haven't. That's why the infant death rate is 50-90%. It's a miracle when a baby survives undiagnosed vasa previa. There's a mama on here who's baby survived. It's such a miracle. But unfortunately it goes undiagnosed all too often. some drs are dumb to it. I havent had one nurse know what it is when I've went to l&d and told them I have it. I get blown off so many times for concerns. Luckily my dr is amazing a proactive. As well as my perinatologist.
It's not usually something u get twice. It's a 1:3000 chance of Gettig it and each preg u have the same odds of getting it. It is more prevalent if u have multiples, precious c section, Lots of past pregnancies, basically the same risk factors as placenta previa. Mine was probably due to the twins I had in the beginning. It caused te vessels to attach wrong because my body was trying to adjust to supporting two babies then there was one to supply so it threw everything off. But lots of mamas get it with no risk factors.

That is seriously the most beautiful song. Your friend is amazing. I was singing it after it's very catchy! That song could help many grieving families this Christmas.
You should email it to someone at Klove maybe they'll sponsor her to record it?

Wow! Thank God that you have the Dr. you do. I bet it's a relief knowing you're in the right hands. We're you carrying twins at first?

Me too. I let So listen and at first he was apprehensive because he thought it was gonna be depressing. I find it to be a very uplifting song for those who struggle with the loss of a loved one around Christmas. I get chills at the part where it says "he knows the pain of losing a son to someone else sin". It makes me tear up Everytime she sings it.
