I love your challenge!! One of our favorite things to do is that when we go grocery shopping, we buy a 5$ gift card and give it to the person behind us. It is awesome!! I always have one of the kids (usually Kayleigh since she's older) give it to them, and the reactions have been so cool. Some people have actually seemed irritated that we bothered them ( I kind of figure those are who needed to be blessed the most.) and some have chased me down in the parking lot afterwards to ask me "why?" So so cool.

I decided to find a church for my son and I.

Thank you. Lack of productivity kind of kills me, but as you saw, Matthew is sick today....so, we've literally been sitting down ALL day playing on youtube and trying to read books.

hey...i just found this thread. I am trying to get back into church and reading my bible. me and dh have been trying to find a church home but no luck, and i kinda dont want to go back to my old one. but anyway, any ideas on reading plans?

Hi! Welcome. Well, if you're new to your faith or new to reading the Bible I've always heard it recommended to start reading in the book of John.

I understand how that goes. I think we forget sometimes that the Bible, and reading it, puts us smack in the middle of a spiritual battle. There's a reason it's so hard to read!!

How was everyone's Sunday?

This sounds awesome! I'm in. I've been so out of touch with my faith since I moved a year ago. I need to get more in touch, and its even more important to me now that my son is here. Does anyone have any good reading plan suggestions?

Hi ladies! Our Sunday was crazy, very crazy. We handled all of the children's ministry stuff this morning, and then again tonight at our churches showing of Courageous. Whew, I'm exhausted.

I taught the toddlers class. I had 4 boys and my girl. It was fun! And I have yet to see Courageous.
