I don't have a smartphone but I have a home computer. So do I just google YouVersion app, is that what it's called?

We do scripture study every night as a family, We read the Bible as a family last year all the way through ( actually it took like a year and 9 months) so I think this is a wonderfull Idea, we would just read 2-3 chapters a night. This year though we have been reading The Book of Mormon, this is a third time reading it through, and we will start on The Bible again once we read it through..I think next time we what we will do is Read 1 chapter of The Bible, and 1 of the Book of Mormon at night.

That's an awesome idea. What do you tell the people when they ask you why you do that?

These post are old, I know but I'm reading through every page because I'm finding a lot of inspiring songs in this thread and good plans and ideas.

For the plan that you're using, do you go in order or do you just choose a few verses a day and check them off as you read them?

I think this letter is awesome for when your child starts asking if you're Santa. I found it on pinterest.

I go in the order they're listed. It works best for me like that.

Just google YouVersion and it should come up. You can make yourself a profile and I currently use The One Year Bible Plan and also a Life Application Study Bible Devotion. You can pick and choose the type of version you want and you can also have it read to you too. It has an audio setting

So I was listening to Klove today and this really resonated with me. We always aing a song called lamb of god in church on Contemprorary Sunday's. Well this lady told how people used to use sheep as a sacrifice. So Jesus is a lamb of god because he was a sacrifice (the lady tells the story way better haha, and there's probably more I missed. But this is what stuck out to me). Idk I hadn't ever thought of the meaning behind the term lamb of god before. So it touched me. Sorry this was random, and probably something everyone knew. But it was like an ah-ha moment for me today so I wanted to share

I remember when I had my ah-ha moment with that! It's beautiful imagery, isn't it?
