re: Bible Accountability

For some reason this thread was taken off of my watched topics.  

I hope everyone is doing well!! I haven't been reading my Bible as much as I should.   Hunter consumes all of my time, and he refuses to take naps!

It's hard living off of a low income....right now our bring home is only $800/mo. Until the beginning of the year, anyway.

Can you set up payment plans with the hospital and dr.s office? You can get lots of stuff off of CL.
I'll be praying for you. That is a tough spot to be in.

I totally understand that. I've not read in over a week. My priorities are all out of whack!!

I'm going to talk to the hospital about getitng the bills I have so far (they total about 3000) waived. Or at least most of them waived. I will
be looking on CL for stuff but I'm finding a lot of people aren't necessarily honest. We bought a crib for my son and she wanted 50 for it. When we picked it up she slipped up and told us she had bought it from a thrift store before she used it. We still have it but I don't feel like its safe anymore. Its a drop side. Not worth 50 dollars.

We get food stamps and the kids are on medicaid.  
We rent from friends so our rent is only $300. And our car is paid off, so we only have insurance, electric, water and internet....I don't have a cell or cable.
It sucks! But, he'll be starting his new job in January and he'll be bringing in about $500+/week (amount depends on how much overtime he gets) which will make us very comfortable. I'm excited. lol

It helps that cost of living isn't very high here.
But, he pays almost $600/mo in child support, so that kills us. But, Shane is his responsibility, so we're ok with it. It just makes it hard.

It's ok, we'll make it.  
We wouldn't be in this situation if his stupid job wouldn't have fired him back in May. That's why we quit TTC, too. We knew we wouldn't be able to make it if I did get pregnant. No way we could have.
I really hope his old job gets caught for all the fraud.   I know that's mean....but oh well. lol

Ya, it's unfortunate how dishonest some people can be.

That is a lot of child support for 1 child. I only get 350 a month for 2 kids.

Yeah, it's a ridiculous amount. It's supposed to be $457/mo. but where DH got let go from his job in May, he got behind. So they're taking extra out on each check.

Did her try to get it changed? I know my ex has had it changed twice because of unemployemnt issues.

Yeah, but they told him that if he tried to change it, it would probably go up....which makes no sense to me. So we just left it.
