I'm really struggling with some things that's causing me to backwoods in my faith and its getting in the way of me being the best mom I can be. I'm feel like God wouldn't accept me which confuses me because I'm the same person I was before I discovered something about myself.

Also, my friend lost her seven year old godson to neuroblastoma so if you could pray for Bray I'm sure they would appreciate it.

I'll certainly pray for you. Christ died on the cross for every single sin. All of them. Here's a verse that came to my mind, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. " Romans 8:38-39

He loves us always. Of course, as Christians we're called to not live in our sin (we're dead to it, why would we want to attempt to live in something we've died to?) Hope that can encourage you <3 I'll be praying.

Yep. My kids are a little sick today, so if I have to tend to them it may be a few minutes before I can reply....but we're having a lazy day today, so I'll be around on and off all day.

I wanted to post some of my favorite songs but my tablet doesn't want to copy the links. Arrgh.


One of my favorites is My God Is An Awesome God. It was on of the firsts I learner so it gives me peace and kinds takes me back to a magical time when I was first saved. I learned and still remember the sign language to that song.

The same goes for Shout To The Lord minus sign language. I never learner signs for this one but its still very special. I think this was the first song I learned. I remember babysitting a friends one year old when I was 11/12 and didn't know any lullabies so I sang him this song.

I think another song is called King of Kings.. does that sound familiar? I don't really remember the lyrics but I remember most of the sign language to it. Which says something because this was in sixth grade.

I admire those that can comfort others with an exact verse, I want to be like that! But the fact is I don't know my bible like I should. I'm thirsty for the word but get lost when trying to read and understand it. There hve been times in my life that I can open it up and it speaks to me, but right now I'm struggling. Any advice on how to take steps to further my knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

This made me smile   Our pastors wife, before we started a new Bible study, quoted from memory the entire book of Colossians AND James! I sat there, jaw open, speechless. I've been so encouraged by her to memorize, and not just little bits (although that's great) but entire chunks! To memorize scripture in context, ya know? I'm doing Psalm 139 right now, bit by bit. You can do it! Psalm 1 is a great one to start with. I'm hoping to memorize the book of Ephesians next.

I was really having a hard time with getting into God's word until I used this little program, it was gentle enough during my day that it felt like it was actually possible to get done. Let me go find the link...

Praying for you and I'm sorry for your friends loss. Very tragic.

I'm having a rough morning this morning. I feel overly emotional, I don't really want to sit here and praise God, and I'm just....flustered. I'm feeling irritated that I'm trying to "die to myself" in a certain area, and I still just don't feel "free" from that desire to go back to it.

Anyways. I'm actually standing in my kitchen doing the dishes (that I didn't do last night, because I had a headache) and trying to make myself listen to some praise music. This song has, so far, stuck out to me....so, here ya go..
