don't feel horrible. Its not about doing a lot.. its about doing what you can and if all you can do is pray for the children receiving the boxes then that is MORE than enough!

Good point! I was looking at the kids on the brochure and they were smiling like I've never seen a kid smile. Pure joy! I really wanted to be a part of that. But you are right! Praying IS being a part of it!

Hey ladies.

At Bible study yesterday we all wrote John how John McAurthor explains salvation when broken down into sections, it was pretty cool.

Justification:The sinner stands before God guilty, but declared righteous.Romans 8:33

Redemption:The sinner stands before God as a slave, but granted his freedom.Romans 6:8-22

Forgiveness:The sinner stands before God as a debtor, but the debt is paid and forgiven. Ephesian 1:7

Adoption: The sinner stands before God a stranger, but made a son. Ephesians 1:5

Reconciliation: The sinner stands before God as an enemy, but made his friend. Colossians 1:20

I'm using a new "who, what, where, why" study tool for my Bible and I read a few chapters of Genesis today. This is literally taken from my FB status, lol, but here is what stood out to me today..

I spent some time this morning in the first few chapters of Genesis, and one thing stuck out that has never stuck out before (love it when that happens!) When Adam and Eve sinned, they didn't immediately die. Sin entered the world and with it came death, but they did not physically die right away. The first human death mentioned, was that of their son - killed at the hands of his own brother. Our sin leaves an impact on our children, what we do affects them. What a loving kick in the butt by our God for me to really look at my sin and how this is going to impact my children, and their children, and their children.

I never had either, but it was like clear as day. I have read that story a hundred times, but God can always draw our attention where it needs to be - so cool.

The story now breaks my heart even more than before. I can just imagine how Eve felt when her child died. *sigh* Sad stuff. Sin breaks hearts, that's for sure.

Hello! I'm good. Today was our homeschool co-op, so I'm flat out exhausted (and making the kiddos go to bed early, hehe.)

We had two of our Thanksgivings early, but on Thursday we have my Grandmother and his mom's side of the family to attend. I am so excited, I can already taste the food.

We're going to Sams aunt and uncles. I keep praying there's no drama   the first thanksgiving we were "together" his sister made a huge scene about me and she'd never even met me before. We got in the car and left. She's never been invited since. But his aunt always has something to say.

We were supposed to go to Disney with them this April and when she found out I would have a 2 mos old she kept saying stuff like "r u still gonna be able to go?" "can u even travel with a nb?" "there's not enough room for a crib" etc. we kept telling her "our babies don't sleep in cribs, we allow our children to go anywhere we do, lylian traveled at 2 mos, etc". But she kept saying the same thing and eventually just said it won't work. So I'm kind of hurt. Idk how I will react if she brings it up

That's rude. You don't un-invite someone because they have a baby.
