re: Bible Accountability

Hi ladies! Here's a song for ya'll this morning!

Most of you probably already know this, but I wanted to share anyways because it finally clicked with me. My pastor's wife was speaking to us a couple Mondays ago and said that when ever she goes somewhere she puts on the armor of God. I couldn't remember it all so I googled it. The best site I found was speaking to military families-

'Do this—visually step through the spiritual armor, from head to toe, found in Ephesians 6 and try to think how you could pray for your spouse as we “put on” each piece of the armor:
Helmet of Salvation.
Breastplate of Righteousness.
Belt of Truth.
Shield of Faith.
Sword of the Spirit.
Feet Shod with the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace.
The teaching on the spiritual armor in Ephesians 6 ends with this instruction from verse 18: “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Pray. '

It just seemed fitting with the lyrics that I always have in my head- "the Lord is with you mighty warrior, so rise, so rise.." I never thought of actually visualizing myself wearing the armor. But it helps, I like it

you wanna know something even more amazing about the armor of God? We have no back protection   I heard this on a sermon from Jon Courson... He's awesome. Look him up. We have no back armor because that would mean we need protection when we run away. We never run away from attacks! We attack with the Word, worship, prayer... We have no need to run away from Satan. So no back armor  

Okay, so I hardly ever post video's so it may take me a moment to figure out how to do this again! lol. But I really like the hip hop rapper Lecrae, he raps all about God. I love this song, he just released this video. It's one of my favorites off his new album

no prob   I really loved that sermon. Also, the bible calls Satan the roaring lion. Which is cool because if you look at a lion pride... the roaring lion is the oldest kind of majestic type of lion.... He stalks prey and then he roars really loudly at them so they run the other way. Well when they run the other way, the run right TO the younger, hunter lions. The roaring lion really has no power. Satan can scare us into sin. But he can't get us. As Jon Courson said "he got his teeth kicked out at calvary." He did. He's done.

My pastor gets emotional sometimes at church and today was one of those days. He was discussing heaven and the myths that people say about it vs what the bible says about it. He brought up the fact that people say you won't remember any loved ones when you get to heaven, but in the bible it states that you will be reunited with everyone. He got emotional reading the passage about that. His daughter passed away several years ago from a car accident. I always get emotional when he does. I need to remember to wear waterproof mascara.

  how awful. I don't why people would even say that   if my previa doesn't resolve I'll need a csection at 35 weeks which I think would put me around my grandmas bday who passed away when I was preg with lylian. that would be ok because it's been long enough but m cousin is just so new it would be a bad memory   I can't link on my phone but there's another son that reminds me of her tht I bawl when I hear. Third day "cry out to Jesus". I just can't do it without crying.
