re: Bible Accountability

It's hard not to have a good time with freshly shaved legs  You guys are certainly in my prayers!

Can I join in? It's also nice and refreshing to meet other BG Christian mothers.

I know they have a one year bible plan on smartphones if you read for 15 minutes a day

My husband uses a plan that is on his phone. I used Professor Horner's plan until recently (10 chapters a day, but it got to be too much with two little ones.) So,now I'm using another plan.

Have any of you heard of Daily Audio Bible? The Pastor who does it reads through the Bible in a year, and you listen along. I try to listen every day while we clean up.

My husband is very supportive me and my daughters going to church, but he has the agnostic approach to God. I just continue to pray for him. Are there any other momma's whose husbands/SO the same?

My SO has an iPhone app tht reads the bible. He likes to put it on before bed. E says the guy has a soothing voice   haha

My husband struggles a lot. He was saved last spring, after many many years of praying. Keep praying!!

My husband has been saved and baptized when he was like 14 or 15. But his church pretty much kicked out his family due to some unfortunate situations that happened. He's never been the same about it since.

That's great that you can remain true to your religion and that he supports that. I hear a lot of stories of people coming to Christ. Just continue praying for him and I will too. He just needs to do it in his own time and not feel pressured to do so.

Yeah, definitely pressuring someone isn't the way to go. He came to church once with me to watch me get baptized so I was so thrilled for that. I continue to pray for him, and thank you for your prayers.

1 Peter 3:!!! In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands. Then, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over

I prayed this CONSTANTLY about dh, still do. As you obey Christ, your husband will see it....Christ will do the work from there.

Another verse that has helped me is.. 1 Corinthians 7:12-14

To the rest I say (I, not the Lord) that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her. If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy

and then 16: Don't you wives realize that your husbands might be saved because of you?
