No. Married people are allowed to have a good time.

Hubby and I use to do it. I don't feel comfortable doing it while pregnant, but he still occasionally goes with friends. I feel like as long as there is trust and your relationship is strong, what is the big deal?

Not wrong, but I wouldn't do it. Too many questionable things can pop up and cause problems. People get drunk in bars and do stupid stuff. Not worth it IMO.

Besides, going to a bar with my DH would be way more fun than by myself or with some girls.

Meh. Honestly, in my opinion it depends on various factors.

1. Was it agreed upon prior to marriage? Things like that need to be discussed.
2. What kind of bar? A club? An old pub? We have different opinions on different kinds of bars.
3. How often is it taking place? Is this an every weekend thing, or a once a year?

My husband has gone to local pubs with a few of his friends, and he went to a more "club" type bar when a band was there - his mom was his date   I see neither of those as a big deal. He goes no more than two or three times a year, and he doesn't get drunk (which is a big deal for him, because he used to have a problem.)

DH and I listen to totally different music and have a hard time choosing a bar we will both like. We do date nights and go out and do other things with just the two of us.

No. I don't really like going to bars but my friends like to drag me along sometimes and it's never a problem.

I don't think it's to big a deal, Unless there is some underlying reason as to why you/he think it's not right?

I wouldn't mind my DH (If i had one lol) Going out for a couple with his mates, I probably wouldn't be comfortable with him going to a club though or hanging out with other women, I don't think couples should 'act' single, But there is no harm in having some 'friends' time.

No its not wrong at all. It'd be wrong if either the husband or wife insisted on going alone then taking their wedding bands off, but just because you're married doesnt mean that you're suddenly one person fused together. Married people still enjoy going out by themselves.

You make the choice to be "fair game" or available. If you stay sober, (or at least carefully limit what you drink) you can be in sound mind to say no, and stay away from the temptations.

However, I think if one in the marriage is uncomfortable with it - it should be discussed, and respected with the decision that is made together.

Fair game? No way, Sounds like someone playing the blame game incase something happens lol It wasn't my fault, I was fair game?
