Inductions after c sections...

posted 24th Sep
My doctors say that they do not induce for vbac. Has anyone though ever been induced for a vbac? Or did they try another method? My first born was induced at 42 weeks, and my son was a c section at 36 weeks. I am worried that if labor doesn't start naturally, and they cannot induce medically at 42 weeks I will have to have another c section.

I absolutely do not want another c section.

Thanks

My Dr told me he would let me labor for a little bit on my own and wouldn't induce I had a c section with my daughter. But if my labor didn't progress like they like its a c section. I agree on not wanting another c section

My OB was gonna induce me for my vbac, THEN all of a sudden my labor just started on its own. He told us to have sex and leave it in and we did and it worked becuase of the sperm or something like that. But good luck

Thank god! I refuse to do another c section unless the baby is struggling. I had so many problems after my last c section. Glad to know that some doctors do it, I pray that they will change there minds and do a slow induction if I go over 42 weeks. Yippie, gives me a little hope, hopefully though I can just naturally start labor on my own prior.

Thanks for answering.
