Please.... :'(

FIL just called. DH's grandfather had a heart attack and they just took him back for surgery. Please if you pray keep him in your prayers. My son is in love with his "Papa Wally" and we need for him to come out of this. The man is so damn stubborn he just has to be okay... He is 83 years old and was told he wouldn't live to see September of 2010... Please just keep him in your thoughts/prayers, what ever it is that you do.

I was just about to update this!

He made it through the surgery. The nurse said his vitals and skin tone look good but his BP is a little on the low side which is common. When he wakes up she's going to give him his medicine and then take his vitals again. She's hoping he'll sleep through the night and his BP will be better by tomorrow. He's currently in ICU.

I will, DH goes back in the morning to see him since I have to stay home with the kids. I've got a wicked sore throat so I don't want to risk getting him sick at all.

He's stubborn so we're hoping he improves and is able to come home soon.

They are hoping to send him home today as long as his BP stays stable. He's angry though because they said he has to quit smoking, I don't think he'll listen. He said he's living on borrowed time anyways so he'll finsih his life how he wants to. "I have been smoking for 70 years, I haven't died from it yet!"
