Our dog was stolen

Someone took our dog from our front yard a few days ago.  
I feel so heart broken. She was such an amazing dog. My 4 year old misses her and had us make signs and post them around the neighborhood.

She was only out in the yard (which is gated someone had to open door and physically take her) for a maximum of 30 mins. My SO left to play in his baseball game and I was on my way home from our sons tball game. I got to the house and everything was still closed. I looked for her and she was no where to be found.   I've looked on craiglist and shelters to see if she turns up. No luck so far.

is she chipped?
are you sure she didn't jump? I didn't know one of my dogs could jump the fence until she saw something she wanted and I'll be damned if her fat ass didn't get over the fence

I am so sorry! People are awful!! Keep checking Craigslist and Shelters. Call local vets and let them know, maybe someone would bring her in for a checkup or something. I would just call anyone I could think of.

If you have a chain link, huskies can climb and jump those.

Was she fixed? usually someone who steals a dog is someone who has seen them before and especially if they aren't fixed (This breed is super desired for theft- it's why I neutered mine asap)

No, definitely couldn't jump to get out.

and sadly, no, she wasn't chipped. We were waiting for her 6 month appt at the vet to get her chipped and spayed.


She's 4 months currently.

It's a tall iron gate. The only way for her to get out is if someone opens the door and takes her out. and no, she wasn't fixed.
SO thinks it was one of his neighbors friends.

Right before he left the house, he heard one of the guys make a comment about how nice our dog looked. By the time I got there, she was gone... and so was the friend. ( it was a max time of 30 mins).

Sorry did you try posting them around South Gate and Lynwood.
My neighbors found a schnauzer a while back and posted flyers along Tweedy where it is usally packed

Follow that smurfer home next times he's around... and watch the house. I would be rip smurf, i bet it was that person.

Put a notice in with all the local vets and shelters. If they take her to the vets, they'll confiscate her.

SO thought it would be ok to let her out in the yard for the amount of time it would take me to get home. She's usually indoors or in the back chained. SO said he felt bad having to chain her because, she was giving him the puppy eyes
