I am going to PT you ladies and then I am going to get my girls ready for trick or treating. Keep your FX that I can make it through the evening without having to go home because of either my body hurting or my tummy acting up.

Good luck momma! I've got to take a six year old trick or treating. I'm excited about it. We're going out to one of the nicer neighborhoods and there's going to be a lot of walking, so I'm ready to see if I can do this!

I ended up taking my 6 year old cousin and my 1 year old DD Trick or Treating. Hardly anyone was passing out candy this year! =[ We had to drive ALL over town, pick out a few houses here and there, walk to the end of the street and back for one or two houses. It was awful.

Mom offered to keep DD for the night so that I could go out and have some drinks with some of my friends (I turned 21 this year, and apparently mom thinks it's incredibly odd that I don't ask to go out more than I do-rarely ever lol). I was so worn out from Trick or Treating that I ended up having one beer, watching Halloween, and saying "forget this", going home, and passing out before 11.

I feel like I'm getting old. Haha.

I didn't know how much walking we'd done until I woke up. =[ My legs and back are all cramped up and I'm trying to get up and start cleaning, but I think I'll just make breakfast for when DD wakes up and take it a little easy this morning. Oi.

Hi everyone. Not really sure where to start. Well I recently had my third child. Problems started while breastfeeding my second child. Variety of symptoms, pain in the joints (knees and hips show arthritis on MRI) but also wrist and elbow pain. Doc said it was temporary tendonitis, or carpal tunnel from hormones. I had it bad during pregnancy, hands always numb and falling asleep. Doc found I had low iron stores.
Fast forward to now, breastfeeding my new 3 month old son. Have same symptoms but also developed dermagraphism, I have itchy burning skin. My wrists and forearms are constantly sore as well as my fingers if I hold on too anything for too long. They get tingly and fall asleep. But recently I woke up and my entire body was sore, it felt like I was hit by a truck. I thought I was getting the flu but it still hasn't gone away. Advil helps and I get a bit of relief from stretching, but as soon as I sit for awhile and get back up, the pain is all over again.
Also am very irritable and fatigued. I can hear my bones cracking all the time in bed or even walking around. I'm getting frustrated because doc can only find low iron stores and pretty much dismisses all my symptoms. I know I'm not the greatest health nut but if I knew what was wrong I could start taking real steps to get better. Right now I'm just trying to stretch several times a day and am limiting my sugar intake. Though Halloween season isn't helping much.
Doc did ask if RA or Lupus ran in the family but it doesn't, so she really hasn't done anything to help me besides telling me I should take iron pills. Should I keep going back and pressing her or what? I feel like I'm talking to a wall. Any advice or guesses what could be going on? Could it really all be pregnancy/hormone related and it will pass? I've been pregnant or breastfeeding for the last 4 years straight. I just want some answers but some support here would be great too.

Hey ladies, how is everyone? I have not been gettig on here too much, so haven't really been keeping up. I went to my doctor but all he did was increased my headache medicine, and told me I was normal. I don't feel normal though. I quit having the headaches every day or other day. Well I feel them coming, but the medicine has been working I guess. Except it don't help with me feeling nausous, dizzy, and tired all the time. :/ Do you all feel like this? It isn't little either, I get so nausous that I can't eat anything because it makes me sick. I can't even finish a sandwich anymore. A lot of the time it is when I am getting up or down, but I get so dizzy that I feel like a drunk stumbling around and like I am going to pass out. I also don't have energy for hardly anything, which is not good with a deployed husband and 2 pre-schoolers running around. The other day at payless, I had to go outside of the store just to dry heave and sit in fresh air hoping that I don't pass out. Then the day before yesterday, I couldn't even make it to the bed from the computer. I just layed down on the floor because I was so dizzy. While I was laying on the floor, I felt so spaced out....for a second there I really felt like my soul was going to leave my body. (That is the best way I can explain it but I doubt that will help the doctor know what is going on. :/) It seems to be getting worse and worse. I am going to try to make another appointment because I am so fearful that I will end up passing out soon. The thing that sucks though is my doctor is taking all the sick days he has while his wife is on maternity leave and then he is resigning and going to a teaching clinic, which my insurance doesn't cover. So now I am also in fear that my next doctor will start my whole process all over again. A lot of the times when I felt bad in the past, my labwork will show up normal and sometimes not. It will show up normal when clearly something is going on and then not normal when everything is completely fine. I am so afraid they are just going to do simple tests and then tell me everything is normal. I really don't know how much longer I can make it like this.   I know my resting heart rate was 114 at my appointment too. Which isn't too abnormal for me, I always have a high heart rate, but that didn't start until all my problems with Lupus and Fibro. started, but the tests I have had on my heart showed up normal. So has anyone dealt with something similar and found out what was going on or is it just normal to feel this way with these problems or what? I think even my dog knows something is wrong, he literally follows me every where I go and is attached to me. He just started this recently too. Do I sound crazy? I know I feel like I am going crazy! Sorry so long,!

I'd like to join. :]

After all these years [About 7yrs] of being in pain, it's finally came down to Fibro.
They had my on cymbalta and seem to work [Some what] for a bit, but then stopped.
I'm in the process of switching insurances right now so I have nothing, I feel like the pain is just getting worse.

How do you ladies cope?

I am on gabapentin (aka neurontin) and it works pretty well. I also have a narcotic for any breakthrough pain.

I take like 20 ibuprofen a day, try to take time to stretch as much as possible, and take Xanax. I wouldn't suggest the ibuprofen thing though, daily max is 12, but it's the only thing that offers any relief at all.

I've started drinking again. It's the only thing that remotely helps.
