I think my Fibro & Lupus are why I don't have many friends! lol They never believe me when I feel bad and always end up never talking to me again! It sucks. I wish I could be more active & do everything.

I'm still really hoping I don't have it. I'm going to ask for a copy of my actual results for it too, because I'm curious. I'm going in Monday to discuss treatment for Fibro, so we'll see. They should have these results by then too.

I was worried about Lupus since I "might" have celiac and I know auto-immune run together often. So when it came back negative I was pretty darn happy. Then I was really stressed when she reordered it, lol.

I think my carrying around my son is making my problems worse! lol He always is trying to sleep, so when I take my 4 year old to pre-k, I have to carry him in with me. Plus DH just deployed a couple months ago, and the kids have a ton more energy than I probably ever will! I am counting down the days until my next doctor's appointment. (Monday, yay!) I know they can't really do much for me though. I know lately I have been feeling extremely nausous. I think I have an ulcer or something because my stomache has been bugging me soo much.

lol, we BOTH have appointments Monday. I hope they can do something! I was hoping not to try anything, but I'm just at my wits end. I snap at the kids and I feel horrible, but it's so hard to deal with two toddlers when I just hurt so much. So, I'm willing to try somethign. I'm thinking either Cymbalta or Savella.

Stomach issues are NO fun. I thought I couldn't eat gluten, but with all the fibro crap now I am wondering if it's actually IBS that is just aggravated when I have too much gluten. Because sometimes I can eat some and no problems, and other times I SWEAR I didn't eat any, and I'll end up with stomach problems. I hate stomach problems. They're horrible, lol

And yeah, I'll admit I don't usually see FMS for Fibro, I put it together because I knew she had it so I figured that was what it was.

Yea. Hopefully your treatment for fibro. helps, although I know sometimes it takes awhile to get the right treatment down. If you ever feel like you need to retake an ANA test later though, don't hesitate to ask! Yea, I would be worried if I was told they were reordering it too! lol

Seriously. I am hoping we can figure something out. I just want more for my kids then I feel like I can give them right now. I'm usually in a pretty good mood, but I hate that I can't take them down to the playground and things because I just hurt so much.

So I'm being positive, and with any luck the meds will be able to help. I've also been exercising, even when I don't feel like it. Not much some days, but I've been doing SOME. I got a fit bit so I can track how many steps I'm taking and make sure I'm at least doing an easy minimum. I've read that exercise helps a lot, and I want to try yoga too.

I'm determined to manage this best I can, lol

I have Chronic Pancreatitis. Had it since I was 3. I no longer have a gallbladder, appendix, spleen, or part of my pancreas. Every day is a struggle with food, I want it then I'm in pain from it. I also have diabetes from the pancreatitis. It's tough, tougher being a mom of a young child...

They put me on Savella first. It actually started working for a while, but I have chemical issues that are making my FMS steadily get worse. I've been getting increased flare-ups and greater sensitivity to outside things, so we're on the hold for my Fibro treatment in the hopes of seeing what's going on in my brain.

But, if it makes you feel any better, the Savella worked for about two weeks after I had been on it for two weeks. It very well could work for you! If that doesn't work, I would definitely ask for Lyrica. My mom has FMS, and a lot of her symptoms went away with it. She's been able to teach full time and raise a six year old with it. It just doesn't work for everybody, but if it DOES work for you, from what I heard, most people go back to their regular lifestyles pretty soon!

I don't know what to say to that. =[ I'm so sorry momma. That sounds awful. Are you still going through treatments for it, or are you kind of just dealing with it...?

There's no treatment really. Just if a flare happens, I stop eating go to the hospital and get pain control. That's all they can do for me right now.

I'm so sorry! That sounds really rough. I know what you mean about beign the mom of a young child. I think pretty much all of us here are, and that makes a big difference IMO. An older child can grasp that you're sick, and they can do things for themselves. I have two toddlers who still need everything done for them, so there isn't really a way to take it easy. It's hard for sure!

This may seem silly, but I'm afraid of Lyrica. I've heard a lot of people say it caused them to gain weight, and I'm working SO HARD to lose all teh extra weight I have. The idea of taking something that will likely cause me to gain again just makes me want to cry, since I think the added weight is a problem too.
