I lost my son at 31 weeks - that's the first thing you think - it was your fault. But it isn't her fault, tell her that, for me! What you can do is share your condolences and let her know you are thinking about her... because you are. Send her a card or something - acknowledge her baby, too. He was greatly anticipated, loved, etc. Stray away from "he is in a better place" and stupid crap like that - we don't care about that right now! Let her know that there is an AMAZING group of ladies on Facebook that know EXACTLY what she is going through and will bring her MUCH comfort. The group is called "Stories of Babies Born Still - S.O.B.B.S), if you can get in touch with her anytime soon.

Anyway, I am soooo, so sorry for your friend. I lost my son 2 years ago and since then I've been hoping that no other mother would ever have to experience what I did. God, I am so heartbroken...

This is from a mom who know's where that mom is coming from.. She can't feel guilty it will eat her away until they day she dies. I had just come home from a regular check up and baby was fully active and strong heart beat.. the next morning i woke up and went in for a kick count again cause baby's movement had slowed down they got the heart beat and than sent me to ultra sound.. this is how fast you can lose your baby and not know. all it took was from me walking out of the first room and into the second room for ultra sound room we got on the table and the lady started than looked at me and said i'm sorry.. It hurts like hell losing your child and i'm sorry but now she needs all her friends to be there cause in all truth there is nothing she could have done.. Things happen and TRUST me it sucks i wish to this day that my little bella was here with me but in turn you have to remember god does everything for a reason. I pray that god gives your friend the strength that she need's in this time

In all truth when they will due and autopsy because it is required but really they may never know what happen When i lost mine they did everything they could but sometimes there are never any answers.

Wow that is incredibly sad. Reading stories of those of you who have lost your babies makes my heart hurt.
