I had my baby Savannah Brooke Gilmer at 6:34 pm on September 20th,2012 weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. 19 1/2 inches long. She came at 38 weeks 2 days. I was 1 cm at 37 weeks and at my 38 week dr appt I was 5 cm. I went into labor and delivery the night before because I had been having contractions all day. I was 3 cm that day, the dr told me to walk for 2 hrs and come back to see if I would progress, came back no progress. I went to my 38 week check up the next day as normal expecting nothing. The Dr checked me and was shocked when I was 5 cm after being 3 the night before. He sent me to Labor and Delivery to be admitted because he knew I had been having contractions for awhile. I was waiting to be admitted and my water broke everywhere!! Contractions got horrible around 2:30 pm, I had my epidural at 4:30 and she was here by 6:34 pm, I went from 6 cm-10 cm in 25 min and pushed for 6 min :-). She is very sleepy and now only 6 lbs 14 oz.
