Why are they inducing you? If you don't mind me asking.

Your about the 5th person to ask me that. Is there a problem with me or my baby if they are doing that? My doctor just told me I will be induced a week before my due date he didn't give a reason. But when I was getting my last ultrasound they said he could be here a week early. So its probably because he's ready to come out.

Hahaha I no how you feel, I tell my coworkers not to laugh at my wobble cause I go very slowww.. getting in and out of my car, getting up off the couch. Even getting off of my bed is starting to seem very sad I have to kick my leg out to be able to roll over :| hahahah. And pain in the pelvic area man oh man it sucks! We just gotta get through it, I can't believe october is already here!

I'm due on Oct.9th

Oh no it's your choice, its just inductions are supposed to be used for medical reasons, baby stopped growing and is no longer able to survive in the womb, etc.
Inductions cause stress on the baby because it causes contractions that are so much harder on baby than contractions that are caused by normal, natural labor. They often result in a csection, because the baby goes ito destress due to the induction. If baby was "ready" to come a week early baby would come naturally.

Good luck mama, maybe they have a real medical reason besides baby is ready. Your baby will be here soon! Congratulations, in no way was I tring to be ride wen I asked you about your induction. Obs are just so induction happy these days.

Im due Oct 23rd! i CANT wait any longer!


at 35 weeks there was no effacement or dilation so im hoping at my 38 week appt this wed we'll see some progress.....any suggestions on distracting myself? all i can do is think about how i have all my baby things in order but no baby! lol Plus i know the due date is just a ball park number so its like gaaaaaaaaa so frustrating lol. She's starting to press on my sciatica which makes it difficult to walk (especially when i need to pee every 15 mins!)

You're welcome, I'm glad I can help! Just remember you always have the right to deny induction as long as you and baby are healthy. I would just ask your doctor what his reason behind early induction is. I have really been researching everything with this pregnancy. Lol

Just tell your dr., don't ask, he's there for you NOT the other way around, that unless there is some medical reason involving your or the baby's health, you would like to have your body tell you when it's time! Either way, you and the baby will be fine! Good luck!

I know you do  mother job never stops aww um jealous i want my baby and gas wow yu gOt lucky all the way around is this your first?

Congrats to all of you who have had their babies.....Lucky  I have been losing some of my mucous plug a little every day but no contractions.....still scheduled for c-section on the 16th but Dr did put me on bed rest  Going stir crazy now that I can not do anything.
