Breastfeeding
posted 22nd Sep
I breastfeed my 1st son with no issues....am planning on bfing baby as well. Thing is, I have a huge cyst on my only overy which will have to be removed sometime after baby is born! Will having no overys affect my ability to breastfeed?

I don't think it should but you might want to ask your doctor or call a le lache league leader I talked to them a few times they're really helpful.

I always wrote a list of questions to ask when I saw my doctor. I remember how annoying it was to have so many things to ask but then they all get forgotten when you see the doctor.
But I think you should be OK. Maybe do some research online

Lactation is caused by hormone secreted from your hypothalmus and pituitary glands, not your ovaries. So it wont affect your ability to breastfeed, don't worry.
