low fluid

I am 27 weeks and I have been dealing with low fluid for the past 3 weeks. I am now being hospitalized till my son is born. Basically, they said my member has rupture and I have passed the stages of going into labor early. I am not contracting and I don't have any pain. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this type of situation since this is my first pregnancy.

how low was the fluid ? mine is 5.2 and been in all day and have to go bak twice a week for monetering and once a fortnight for scans i am 29 weeks
