Probably going to have my baby tommorow! 33 weeks! AH!

Tomorrow morning they are going to take me off the Magnesium to see what happens. I've been on it for 2 days, high doses & my contractions stopped barely 5 hours ago. First day they checked i was 3cm nd very thin opening. I'm sooooooooooooooo nervous! I think I am going to continue to have contractions once off the mag. Soooo scared to give birth once again, and to have a preemie!

You make it sound like having a preemie is a good thing.  

NO! thats why i said i'm scared! I don't want him to come out yet! At least 3 more weeks

How so? She says she is scared that she might give birth and wind up with a preemie.

I had to have my son at 32 weeks & days due to pre-e. He was in the hospital for only 3 weeks, only because of his birth weight being so low & they wanted him to reach atleast 5 lbs.

I hope you can hold out for atleast another 3-4 weeks, but just remember if he does come, technology is so advanced & there will be great doctors there to help him & get strong.

My Mom had me at 27 weeks. I had to stay in the ICU for 6 weeks I think, but had to go back 2 weeks later because I would stop breathing.

Hopefully he/she wont have to stay in the NICU too long  

Can't they put you back ON the Mag Sulfate if contractions kick up again? That's what they did to me with the twins. But, I went into labor at 25 weeks and then made it to 32 weeks before I delivered. I was on Mag Sulfate for a week and a half straight, max dose, I wanted to DIE! Are they just going to stop it or back you down slowly?

The doctors are saying this was caused by a bladder infection and dehydration..  . I'm really nervous, hopefully everything come out good.

They said 3 days max, so tomorrow at 11am i'm off the mag, and if i have contractions, i will have to deliver the baby.
