My sisters were twins orn at 30wk I think. only spent 2wk in nicu. Don't let them scare you out of skin to skin with baby. It really helps babies.

Well that sucks. Good luck to you. I have faith everything will be fine. My boys were only in NICU to grow 'cause they were so tiny. They didn't have any breathing issues or anything, they were just small, and you're further along than I was even. And my boys were born 14 years ago! I'm sure there have been advances since then. Just stay calm and roll with however it works out. God won't give ya more than you can handle, although sometimes we all wish He didn't have so much faith in US. lol

I'm sorry, hun. I know you're worried but try not to...I'm sure your doctors are preparing for the delivery, just in case you do go into labor.
My son was born at 24 weeks and although it was shocking, I had a peace about it. Somehow I knew he and I would make it.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your little one, hoping things go well.

don't be too scared. having a preemie is hard because you have no choice but leave them at the hospital, but you have made it this far, there is a really good chance that the baby will have no complications. more than likely be able to breathe on their own, be able to latch on or drink bottle themselves, they will just need to make it to 5 lbs. don't stress, try to stay off your feet AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

Yea it's a already scary knowing im going to give birth again, nd plus knowing that he's going to be a preemie is scarier :/ but i have gotten steroid shots for his lungs and the u/s says he is about 5 pounds..so hopefully everything is good..thanks.

See, it should go smoothly, don't worry or stress too bad, it'll be okay. My first was preemie and I keep feeling like I'm going into labor but it seems to be okay at least for now... I also worry about giving birth again, its a scary thought but there's no going around it. Just remember it'll be over before you know it.

I hope everything goes well! I went to preterm labor at 26wks with my son because of a UTI, even though I was already treating it. I was on mag for 2 days, my contractions slowed down got to a 2 and 75% effaced. I stood in the hospital for another 2 days and a weeks later went back for the same thing but was there for only 2 days. I made to 38 wks and was induced due to pre-e, by then I had made it to 3cm.

Did you have her natural or epidural? I don't know what to expect since with my first she was 8 pounds and i got the epidural.

Hopefully i don't get contractions after i'm off the magnesium. I just want to make it past at least 36 weeks.I'll be 34 weeks on tuesday. thanks
