I feel like this is pretty ignorant.

A bunch of my family members have been posting this on FB. Thoughts?

Not really seeing how it's ignorant.

I can not stand people who beg, I'm asked for money daily.

Maybe it's because I'm so tired but I don't get it?

I was with him till he said lazy .... not ALL homeless people are lazy. Some are actually not able to work and have situations that make it impossible.

I think it's lame. Not really ignorant. Stupid yes.

Okay, nevermind. I'm just tired. I get it now.

People who stand outside with signs asking for money.

Some people panhandle because they really are homeless and have no choice.
So in that aspect he's an smurf.
But I've actually seen a lady sit on the corner in my town with a baby, collecting money and she has a nice house and car.
That's lazy.

Maybe I'm taking it the wrong way. I don't deal with panhandlers very often.

But, the family I'm speaking of is always posting about the "47% lazy bastards of America" not knowing I also get state assistance, lol.
So, I kinda took it as more of their anti-welfare pictures.

This, I'll buy them food.. but don't really like giving out money because who knows what they'll do with it.

This man was standing at an intersection with a sign that said.
"ANYTHING will help, even a smile"
So I handed him a mountain dew and a cream cheese Danish, and said have a good day.. With a smile

Some man outside the mall asked me for change one day saying he was hungry. And I told him I had none (I honestly did not), but I brought him out a hotdog and he said to me, "I don't like mustard" and tossed it into the trash bin..
I have never tried to help someone since. He killed my kindness.
