That happened to me a few weeks ago, this women lives in her car right next to a shopping center.. I got some dog treats for her dog... well apparently she says her dog doesn't like that kind   she was such a rude bitch, I just drove away.

I have a friend that only eats raw native plants from the ground....she's been doing it for 6 months...she knows how to pick out which weeds are edible and name them. She isn't homeless...she does this by choice but really I think if there is a will there is a way...but there are exceptions like handicapped or so on...but there are ways to get back on your feet

No, I agree with that. For sure. But how many people are sitting there screwing the system. That's the part that upsets me, just one more thing for them to spend all our money on. My dad's exwife pulled welfare fraud for YEARS and I know others that have/do and I guess it just irks me to think that now they may get handed a cell phone.

Exactly. I hate it but we may need it for a month or two right now. We were supposed to move, had everything packed up ready to go and 2 days before we left everything fell through. So now my husband's scrambling to find work again and we have like the highest unemployment in the nation here, in like the second poorest state and the poorest county in that state. Yet there's asshats on welfare driving Cadillacs and never work. WTF man.

God tell me about it. I'm on assistance atm, but i don't plan to bleed the system for all its worth. I'm 19 and 7 months pregnant, i would not be able to get ready for DD if it wasn't for that help. And i HAVE to work to receive that help.

Every time my husband and I go to the mall there are a few panhandlers around. My husband bitches about it, but they really don't bother me for the most part. If I have $1, I'll give it and hope that they do good with it...if not then oh well. I don't give away money that I don't have to give.

Although when we lived in Norfolk they did piss me off because I could not leave the house without someone asking me for something. Either money, a ride, a smoke, my smurfing first born. It was always the same story when it came to money or a ride, they needed to get home and were broke. Well when I am broke I don't leave my smurfing house, maybe you should try that out.

I just need to know, is there some secret stash of cardboard and markers lying around at corners or something? Where do homeless people get them? Lol do they just all go to random places to get that stuff?

Ignorant... No. Stupid? Yes... I deal with the same homeless dude every time I go out. HE is lazy... and an smurf. I know that not every homeless person is like that, and I do not condemn. I give food to those who ask kindly.
