re: Scared for a c-section.

Thats just it I got my leave of absence note from the Dr already and she has it set for I can go back 8 weeks after my twins are born. Because I receive the cash asssitance now I had to have the note because the Dr was like how are you going to look for work when you are this far along and your schedule is going to become chocablock full of appointments. So she wrote out the note and sent in all the paperwork required but it is still for 8 weeks after delivery. Maybe after the boys are born and depending on how the incision is healing and I am getting along she might give me another note to extend it a few more weeks for healing purposes but so far its set at 8 weeks, Which I myself dont think is enough time when it takes 6 weeks to recover from a c-section. Did I mention I hate this Dr with a passion??? But I am not gonna switch for the fact of the other place around me is even more annoying for OB appointments. I just wish she would give me direct answers instead of mucking around and giving me partial answers. She always tells the truth but it takes 40+ questions to get the whole answer out of her. But Iam hoping (depending on how I heal and everything like that) that maybe she will give me an extension on leave for healing purposes because like I said 8 weeks doesnt seem to be enough to recover and if she doesnt give me extra leave for healing atleast a note saying what I have restrction wise until another follow up appointment. Because the work I am going to be seeking is factory so I can get in right away and start providing for my family.

Ya when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter she was an emergenct c-section and school only gave us 3 weeks of being absent but the dr didnt like how i was healing so he gave me another week and half off, yes school isnt the same but it was done for me. I find out friday if I can get an extension on my Leave of absence from work.. so ill be rooting for ya! good luck with everything

Thanks and you as well!! I also hope I can get an extension once the boys get here. I dont feel 8 weeks is quite enough to recover and have good bonding time with your kids when you spend half the time taking it easy to make sure you get better. Atleast a note restrictiong what I can do for another couple months would be nice if I dont get an extension on the time off because I dont want to go back and overdue it right away.
