Yes we have tried everything he is very stuborn!!! he has been on it sense i was like 31 weeks. The only 2 things we can do is put a straw like thing in though my pee hole. But they would have to put me asleep for it and it could start my labor after words anyway. The other is trying to get him to come alittle bit early so it wont hurt him or me. Also my mother wont let me have the straw thing. So we are trying to slowly start my labor.

Ok well that answers the question as to why your mom wont let you have that procedure done. I wish you the best of luck trying to get him off your kidney and if he doesnt move well then a c-section is your best bet. Not only for baby but for you as well because if your kidney does burst it is going to be EXTREMLY painful. No I dont know form experience but I am a Medical Assistant and what we learned in school is it hurts!! So good luck and I hope that you have progressed in dialating. I know I myself am scared for a c-section but it is what is best for all 3 of us in the end to come out and go home in one piece. Thats the only thing I am going with what it best for my boys and for me. I also have a 4yr old little boy at home who depends on me so making it home to him with his baby brothers safe and sound is my goal. Good luck and let us know how things progress or if you end up c-section or not.

I have had 2 c-sections and having another one in april.. I LOVE them. They are so much easier, all you do is get numbed from the waist down, so you cant feel a thing and your awake while the baby is being born( a little freaky i know) with my second daughter I went into surgery at 745 and the baby was born at 803 so its quick and easy... some down falls are you cant drive like 10 days after the surgery, have to walk up the stairs backwards, I had to sleep on the couch for a month, you cant lift anything(except the baby of course) for about 4 to 6 weeks, I took it easy for about a 4 to 6 months after I had the baby.. They are scary but worth it I would say!! hope that helps a little

Helped me a little bit I know that much. I am due to have a c-section in Nov for my ID Twin Boys and was kinda worried. I unfortunatly only have 8 weeks after I have the babies though to get recovered and find work because I have to attend the "JET program" through DHS because I am getting cash assistance to help me stay on my own and keep me going till they get here and I can look for work. But now I have some idea of what to expect thanks my friend didnt even tell me the restrictions.

You can alway get a drs note with restrictions telling the JET program what you can and cant do.. I had to do it with my oldest, i was a senior in high school(graduated) and i had to take a month off bc my scar wasnt healing right(baby daddy was abusive) but when you go in for your check up right after the babies are born, you can ask for a drs note.. I got one already im only 9 weeks and im already on leave of absence from work..

I bet you wouldn't feel that way if they found a bunch of scar tissue and adhesions inside you. Some women get off easy with a c-section, some not so much. I had so much scarring with one of my kids that they needed the vacuum to get him out. Another lady in my ICAN group...her bladder was fused to her uterus and the doctor had to separate the two in order to get to the baby and then put the bladder where it belonged. She was on a catheter for a month.

So no, c-sections are not a walk in the park. And the more you have, the worse they get due to scarring. If the OP wishes to avoid a c-section, she needs to tell her doctor to quit smurfing with her cervix. 38 weeks and 2cm dilated, stripping membranes isn't going to do a damn thing except aggravate your cervix. A lot of women don't dilate until they're in active labor. I'm 39 weeks and just a fingertip dilated and my OB won't mess with it because it won't accomplish anything. And it seems to me that her doctor is taking advantage of the fact that she's young and doesn't know any better in order to line his pockets.

If you were in labor for hours and not progressing, I could maybe see him hinting at a C-section. You are not in labor, so therefore there is no need for even discussing it at this point. Real labor doesn't let up. I really think you are having BH, and I would see if a different doctor could handle you from here on out.

You seriously don't want major surgery for no good reason.
