He is only 16 months. Doesn't use words yet only signs and he doesn't know enough yet to tell.

Not cool. I would ask him casually, hey the baby has a red spot on his back, do you know what happened?

With abusers, it normally only escalates further and further as the child gets older, especially once they learn how to argue and talk back. I honestly would not let the child return unsupervised.

Don't trust that your child will tell you truthfully what happens when gone. Children will protect a parent, especially if being threatened, scared, or coerced. Just be careful and keep a very close eye on the situation.

I just got asked last month if he was 6 months ha. He's got itty bitty legs and a long torso poor kid

I will when I pick him up tomorrow. But knowing him he will play dumb or say it was there before and I know for a fact it wasn't.

Take pictures before he leaves tomorrow...keep these pictures you take after each visit and then go through then and see then. If something is a red flag then i'd do something about it.
