Baby dropped?

Im 38 weeks today and i just had my membrains striped or however you spell it on the 20th. I am only 2 cm dilated and ive been having contractions but i dont think the baby should be this low though. is it normal for him to dropp that fast?

ok thats good  my firends thought i looked funny sense when they were 38 weeks there baby wasnt that low. so i thought i was not normal lol

Every one is different. my son never dropped. He was up in my ribs even when they induced me.

Oh really? my son was never in my ribs which i thought was werid but instead he went to my kidney and layed on it. So i would of loved to have him in my ribs then my kidney lol

My son was the same way. I ended up having bruised ribs and strained muscles because of it lol
