It's never okay to bleed through a pad in less than an hour, she needs to go to the E.R.

I have never had one but that amount of bleeding doesnt sound normal at all. Even after delivery a pad an hour is to much. She needs to go to the ER like now.

As the others have already said, I'd get to the ER. I hope everything is OK when she gets there. That must be very difficult.

I don't know from experience but that seems like a lot to me! I would be seen or at least call about that and make sure she's drinking a lot because dehydration can cause dizziness.

dizzy is one of them. Honestly if she isnt within like a 15-20 min drive of the nearest ER I would call an ambulance.

It is normal.

The second pill is cytotec, you can fill up to 4 pads an hour, she needs to stay hydrated because it causes diarrhea badly and that will make her lightheaded.

I just finished my dosage last week for a missed miscarriage and am still bleeding. In clinical studies, only very few needed blood transfusions and most were admitted into the hospital for dehydration. She needs to be laying down and drinking water or gatorade.

Also if they prescribed her an opiate pain medication to take with it, both those and the cytotec can cause dizziness as a side effect. However it's always better to be safe than sorry. My midwife said if you're filling 4 pads an hour, hour after hour, then you may have too much blood loss. But if it's only 4 pads in the first hour or two, it's pretty normal.

In regards to possibly having lost too much blood, her dizziness alone is an indicator. It sounds like she's hemorrhaging..

I hope she gets some medical help. She'll be in my thoughts.
