2cm 90% effaced

i was at the hospital the day before yesterday, having contractions every 5 minutes. They checked me and said i was 50 % effaced but not dilated at all. The doctor told me to walk around for a while and after 45 minutes of walking i went up 1cm. They admitted me into the hospital and 3 hours later i was 2cm and 90% effaced, i'm currently pregnant with my first (a girl) and i'm 39 weeks and 2 days. They decided to send me home yesterday because i wasn't making more progress. I want my baby girl here already. What else should i try to keep labor going? I walk a lot, but any other ideas..

sex? eat pineapples. keep walking lol.

I'd be humping my husband multiple times a day, squats, lunges, etc. none of it worked for me because they stopped my labor, then had to go back and restart it a month later. It's possible to be this way for a while.

Have you tried nipple stimulation ? when my sister was 38 weeks her dr told her to breast pump if she had one for 15 min every hour to get contractions going and it worked for her ..... he was going to induce her with pitocin because he said her baby was too big and had no room left and her fluid was low .... but she refused to get induced with medicine and sure enough the breast pumping worked . she did it for a whole day and that night around 3 am labor started

I want to have sex but it hurts, and i'm afraid i will hurt the baby because her head is right there.

It won't. I was 6 cm and baby's head was fine.

you should give it a try and see if you can handle it im sure the pain wont be worse than labor and contractions lol ....

just pump.
it should relieve some of the pain, and help jumpstart the labor.

if your water broke.. you should deliver within 18 hours or be on antibiotics

lol im a new mom to be too but i sat with my sister thru her whole process , she had a manual pump so she just put the pump on her breast and pumped on both her boobs at the same time for 15min then stop for an hour and do it again , im sure its the same if your pump is electric..
