Pressure When...

When I go pee I have a huge amount of pressure in my pubic bone area.. Is this normal??

You're really close to your due date, so your baby might be dropping some. A full bladder supports some of your baby's weight, so every time you empty you suddenly get the full weight drop into your pelvis. If you're starting to efface then your baby might be dropping lower and lower each time you pee, and even if its only by micrometers you'd feel it! If it worries you too badly I'd suggest calling to talk to your dr or a nurse, they might want to see you. Hope you have a safe and joyful delivery!

yes very normal. When I was in labor i had so much pressure there and in my butt. couldnt feel contractions but, i could feel all that pressure and boy did i cry!! just the baby movin down.

Oy!! lol did you get the epidural? And how you doen?!

yes, thank God lol. And Im okay. still in some pain though

I saw that =] Its really was not as bad as people said it would be. I sat in the tub for a good hour when contractions were bad, got my epidural and was good for a while but then felt pressure really bad and thats the worse it got. the button they give you to push if you start feeling pain after your epi was my best friend. Just push as hard as you can and dont stop and she'll be out soon=] I pushed for 30 minutes and the nurse said I'd be pushing for 80. I proved her wrong
